Product Specifications

Body Colour: Deep Emerald Green / Bottle Green with a natural, lustrous silk sheen. Design Pattern: Classic fine Zari Checks (Kattam) grid woven throughout the body in subtle gold metallic thread. Border: Contrast dual border featuring: A broad, solid Gold Zari (Korvai) border. A vibrant Magenta / Rani Pink selvedge edge along the bottom. 2. Perfect Occasions to Wear Traditional Festivals: Diwali, Varalakshmi Vratham, Pongal, Navratri, or temple ceremonies. Weddings & Pre-wedding Events: Ideal for reception wear, sangeet, engagement, or pellikuthuru rituals. Formal Gatherings: Boutique showcases, cultural galas, and milestone family celebrations. 3. Wash Care Instructions Dry Cleaning (Recommended): Always prefer Dry Clean Only for high-grade Kanchivaram silk to retain the rich lustre of the silk and protect the metallic zari threads. If Hand-Washing at Home (Only if necessary): Use strictly cold water with a mild, pH-neutral silk detergent or baby shampoo. Never soak the saree before washing, and wash body and border quickly to prevent dye bleed. Do not wring, twist, or scrub the fabric or zari. Roll gently in a dry towel to absorb extra moisture, then dry in shade in a well-ventilated space (avoid direct sunlight). 4. Ironing & Pressing Heat Setting: Use the lowest Silk setting on your iron. Iron on Reverse: Always iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Protective Cloth: Place a thin, clean cotton cloth or muslin press-cloth between the iron and the saree. Avoid Direct Contact on Zari: Never press a hot iron directly onto the gold zari, as high heat can dull or tarnish metallic threads. Steaming: Indirect steam from a safe distance works best for stubborn creases. 5. Storage & Preservation Storage Wrapper: Wrap and store the saree in a breathable pure cotton or muslin cloth bag (never store in sealed plastic covers, which trap moisture). Refolding Routine: Unfold and refold the saree along different fold lines every 3 to 4 months to prevent stress creases along the weave. Perfume Precaution: Avoid spraying perfumes, deodorants, or hairsprays directly on or near the saree, as alcohol and chemicals can discolour silk and tarnish gold zari.

Silk
Do not hand wash and only dry-clean silk sarees. In case the saree gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water. Never hang a silk saree to dry in direct sunlight as doing so will cause the colour to fade.
Cotton
Wash it regularly in cold water and air dry. Separate white fabric from colored fabric when you wash it. Spot treat stains to keep your cotton looking good as new. Please note there can be some shrinkage and colour bleeding for cotton apparels and that is normal.
Georgette
Georgette is a delicate fabric; it should always be hand washed in cold water to preserve its colour and quality. Do not to wring the fabric as it may twist out of its original shape
Chiffon
Chiffon fabrics need to be dry cleaned. Polyester chiffon and nylon chiffon can be hand washed or washed in the washing machine on gentle. Use a mild, gentle detergent. Wash with cold water and soak for 30 minutes, do not wring, lay flat, don't put in the sun.
